Nature's Certified Barefoot Hoofcare Specialist Course
This is an intensive 10-day plus 6-month apprenticeship program to certify individuals for a "career" in Natural Hoofcare. Through lecture, demonstration, dissection, and hands-on training you will learn:
- Hoof care theory and history
- Environmental necessities and components essential to rehabilitation and/or maintenance of barefoot horses
- Anatomy and physiology of the hoof mechanism
- Corrective trimming methods
- Referral program to begin your career

Tools: Students must bring their own tools. You will need a hoof knife (left or right handed), sharpener, rasp, nippers, apron/chaps, and gloves. Some items may be available for purchase.
Accomodations and meals will be the responsibility of the student.
Course schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm, for two consecutive weeks.
Fee: $2250 plus GST. A deposit of $500 is due upon registration. The remaining balance is due on or before the first day of the course.

The "Trim your Own Horse" Course
This is an intensive 5-day course for the individual who wishes to learn how to apply the barefoot trimming principles of natural hoof care to their own horse(s) only. Through lecture, demonstration, dissection and hands-on training you will learn:
- Hoof care theory and history
- Environmental necessities and components essential to rehabilitation and/or maintenance of barefoot horses
- Anatomy and physiology of the hoof mechanism. Many cadavers will be examined
- Personal consultations specifically designed to address your own horse's hoof care.
