Certification Through Inspection

A certification may be awarded to a farrier or trimmer who can demonstrate:

- a concrete grasp of the hoof mechanism
- proper trimming procedure, in relation to the standards put forth by Nature's Barefoot Hoofcare Guild
- the ability to complete a one-day hands-on and written examination

Inspection fees are $100. The awarding of a Certificate at the end of the examination is entirely at the discretion of NBHG's President.
